2205 Seamless Stainless Steel Tube

The 2205 duplex stainless steel tube is defined as stainless steel in which the ferrite phase and the austenite phase in the solid-quenched structure are half of the stainless steel, referred to as 2205 stainless steel tube. The actual phase ratio is that ferrite occupies 45-55%, and the corresponding austenite occupies 55-45%. The excellent performance of 2205 duplex stainless steel is ensured by an appropriate ratio of two-phase structure. 2205 duplex steel pipe combines the most beneficial properties of ferrite and austenite and has good resistance to chloride-ion stress corrosion cracking. It is duplex stainless steel composed of 21% chromium, 2.5% molybdenum and 4.5% nickel-nitrogen alloy. The yield strength is twice that of austenitic stainless steel.
